carnag3 | YES | we have tested this crylink settings for over 6 months now and I found that it doesn't make the weapon noticeably weaker or less useful than the default version, on the contrary it adds a nuance in using it effectively at medium range where you press and hold primary to time when to release the button so the pellets can converge and hit the target instead of getting easy damage where all pellets explode when it touches the enemy. Firing at close range is not effected much by this balance change compared to default and with no linkexplode reduces many instances of self damage |
